Tromba Trombones are pleased to announce that with immediate effect KORG UK Ltd will be our official partner for all Tromba products distribution within the UK and Europe. KORG will be providing dealer support, logistical and distribution facilities to our network of new and existing dealers and retailers across Europe from their KORG UK hub.
We believe this new partnership will benefit all concerned and enhance the service offered to our customers in the UK and Europe and demonstrates the increasing demand and interest we are now getting for Tromba products.
Our current Tromba retailer network will benefit from a more cost effective localised delivery service with a more rapid response time and time-zone friendly customer service provided by Korg UK and a Europe wide network of established and new distribution companies working in partnership with Tromba.
KORG is a well respected and internationally recognised company and this new working partnership will open up new avenues for both our companies in further developing new and exciting products to introduce to our European customers.

Who Should Use Our Plastic Trombones?
Quite simply, our plastic trombones are suitable for most players, from beginners to experts. For those people just starting out, Tromba products represent fantastic value for money. At just over £80, our plastic trombones cost just a fraction of the price of a brass trombone. Our trombones are made to a precise specification and use high quality materials to ensure the best possible tone with no loss of fidelity throughout the note ranges. Tromba trombones are much lighter than traditional instruments, which is a great advantage for children and beginners, who find traditional brass trombones heavy, especially after prolonged playing.
Our plastic trombones are ideal for schools, who want to buy quality instruments without the high costs that are normally associated with them. Our brightly coloured plastic finishes also add a “fun factor”, which helps keep kids interested for longer. In fact, we have a selection of 9 different colour variations and finishes which can easily match with school or team colours. Our traditional Gold and Silver metallic trombones are ideal for the more serious player to blend in easily with conventional brass or silver band instruments.
A Tromba plastic trombone can also be used by experienced players. The sound quality of our instruments is exceptionally close to brass models that cost several hundreds of pounds. They are of high enough standard to be used at gigs and even concerts, where their unique look will add to the on-stage presence.
Instrument Specification
Not all plastic trombones are the same. Tromba instruments have the highest specification on the market to ensure a long life and the best possible sound quality. Features include :
- Made From High Grade ABS Plastic - which is more resilient and has better heat resistance than other plastics.
- Easy grip design - specifically created to help children and beginners use the correct hand positioning.
- Easy Clean – All parts can be easily removed and washed. Our instruments are more hygienic than traditional trombones.
- Lightweight – Our plastic trombones weighs just 750g, much less than brass equivalents, which typically weigh around 2kg.
- Trombas are ultrasonically welded for extra strength and durability. Making the instrument light but extremely strong.
As part of an agreement with another plastic trombone supplier, we are currently unable to supply the model of trombone that was previously sold on this site. Rest assured that we are working on many new products along with a newer version of the trombone (codename: glide slide) and will be requesting the help of our many fans to offer feedback and reviews of our products prior to the official launch.
